Hot weather, high electrical demand, and load spike are high risks of power shortage. To ensure meeting the demands of electricity for domestic use and production, especially in the cluster of industries of Nam Hong, Cong Khanh, and Trung Luong traditional handicraft village, and for water pumping during summer-autumn rice cultivation, Hong Linh Electricity worked out  many solutions to provide secure power supply with stability, continuity to serve the production demands and activities of the people in the locality.

Since the beginning of the year, Hong Linh Electricity (Ha Tinh province) in collaboration with departments, unions, communes and wards has strengthened public communication, mobilized people to change their habits in power usage with an aim to save 10% of commercial electricity outputs in all sectors.

Hong Linh Electricity also conducts many client meetings to disseminate the guidelines, policies and legal documents on power savings and solutions as well. At the same time, the electricity authority works directly with all big business and production customers to attain agreements, and commitment in consumption within the allocated output.

For public lighting, it is planned for a 50% decrease. As a result of good performance in public communication, over 14,500 customers in the province are aware of the importance of power savings, especially during the recent hot days.

During this period, Hong Linh Electricity has mobilized its officials, employees and officials to strengthen the inspection, timely detection of defects in the grid; clearance of right of way of the transmission lines to ensure safety; coordination with local governments to ensure security and fire safety for the electrical works; no service work on the grid for power supply lines when pumping stations are serving the irrigation during droughts; allocation of adequate human and material resources and machinery to handle problems faster irrespective of time.

Along with solutions to secure power supply with stability and continuity for the needs of production and life of people,  from now till the end of dry season of 2015,  Hong Linh Electricity continues to promote the public communication, raising the awareness so that the  agreements could be signed with all clients on power savings program to be implemented with electricity-saving practices in a positive way, especially the company organizes campaigns in the wards, communes, villages and residential quarters with the principle of the 4 rightness in the use of Electricity: right time, right place, right way and right demand. People are encouraged to turn the electrical appliances off when not in use. Rational layout of production line, and raising the capacity of electrical equipment are also promoted.

With a series of deployed solutions, Hong Linh Electricity strives to ensure energy supply to meet the needs of socio-economic development, national defense - security and well-being in 2015 Summer 2015 in the town.
