The students are answering questions during a communication event
Witty questions about power saving theme attract broad participation of students. Many questions are close to the reality, close to life regarding topics such as Earth Hour, types of lamps, electrical equipment, all of which receive students' enthusiastic responses.
Besides the questions to test the knowledge, other questions related to the generation of energy types, reasons to use electricity economically and efficiently are raised to the students.
Nguyen Le Khanh Huyen, a student of Grade 7D, Pham Dinh Quy Secondary School, Tay Hoa district, said: "Although we are instructed by parents and teachers on how to use the electrical appliances but not a deep understanding about how each specific device is in use. So, for a long time, my family get hold of a misunderstandings about saving electricity. For convenience, my mother cooks in a rice cooker from early morning until noon when we turn the cooker off for meals. And my brother, after watching television, only finishes it off by pushing the controller off-button. During this hot season, each of us uses an electric fan despite living in the same room, television. I shall inform my family members to be aware of how to use the equipment as shown in the instructions ".
To share the impression on the communication events, Nguyen Thanh Phuc, student of grade 6D of Tran Quoc Toan secondary school, Tuy Hoa town said: "I have never expected a show of funny and witty communication like this. This is an interesting and rewarding program. The enthusiastic, funny presenters gave more impetus to update our knowledge. I will be an active communicator, calling for friends and relatives to join the electricity savings program, starting from the smallest things. Next year, brothers and sisters would come to my school again, wouldn't you?".
Mr. Nguyen Tan Hong, the Vice Principal of Tran Phu Secondary School, Song Hinh district said in his assessment: "It is a truly rewarding program. Even our teachers had just overheard about the saving but not really understood how to use the specific device with savings and efficiency for each type of equipment as what had been instructed by the communicators. I believe that this communication activity would be more often organized together with competitions at all levels, through which instructions could reach the people, to promote awareness of saving electricity deeply in the mindset of the people ".
To promote the power savings in the hearts and minds of people, in the future, the communicators of Phu Yen electricity company will continue to propose many new forms of communication, with intimacy and more creativeness.
