Review and Award for Children Painting Contest "Power Savings" in 2015

The Children Painting Contest on "power savings" theme initiated by Nghe An Power Company in coordination with Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House was launched in June 2015 for the preschool age group, primary school and upper primary school students.

On August 15, 2015, the Nghe An Power Company in coordination with Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House organized the Award Ceremony for the Children Painting Contest on "power savings" theme. Among the attendants, there was Mr. Ha Thanh Tinh, Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee; Mr. Trinh Phuong Tram, director of Nghe An Power Company; Ms. Hoang Thi Yen, director of Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House.

The Children Painting Contest on "power savings" theme initiated by Nghe An Power Company in coordination with Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House was launched in June 2015 for the preschool age group, primary school and upper primary school students. During the past two months, the contest has attracted a large number of children who are studying and joining activities in the Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House and other schools in the province. This Contest is to educate children with aware of power saving, a very important energy source in life, so that the children could contribute to environment protection and better meaningful life.

The organizer received over 400 paintings from 4 -15 year old children. The children brought to the contest the richness, the diversity of ideas, the fun, lovable in each schetch, and vivid combination of colors ... Out of the 400 paintings, 54 paintings won prizes, with 27 paintings of Consolation prize, 15 of Third prize, 6 of second prize and six paintings got the First prize.

This is the second year for the Contest to be held. Through the contest, it is expected that the children and students are educated on the awareness of saving electricity at any time, any place, to impart the knowledge to their family creating a synergized understanding and practice, spreading in the community.
