Implementing the National Scheme for Energy savings, on October 22, 2015, An Tao Primary School in Hung Yen City in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union and Hung Yen Electricity Company deployed the Program "Primary schools joining hands for energy saving 2015 ".

Using visual aids, integrated with interative game playing, the Program "Primary schools joining hands for energy saving" at An Tao school in Hung Yen city helped the children learn the basic physical properties of electric currents, how to use the common electrical appliances in the household with safety and consevation such as: turning off the electrical appliances when they are not in use; no kite flying nor playing under power lines; prioritizing the use of electrical equipment using new technologies and solar energy equipment.
Through the interactive communication integrated with knowledge exchange, the school children have understood the importance and significance of saving electricity and how to realize the economical and efficient use of electricity power and to act for environmental protection through energy-saving and efficiency.
The Model "Primary schools joining hands for energy saving" in Hung Yen is an annual program, co-organized by the Provincial Youth Union and Hung Yen Electricity Company to get teachers and students envolved in many different schools of the province. In 2013, it was held at the Primary School of Tan Dan commune and Da Trach commune in Khoai Chau district. In 2014 it was organized at Primary School of Ngoc Thanh commune in Kim Dong district.
