During three days, December 16 -18, 2015, the Low Carbon Transition in Energy Efficiency Project (LCEE Project) held a training course on Optimization of industrial refrigeration system for the 2nd round.
The training is designed for the participants who comply with the requirements after the 1st round, and intend to deploy the optimized operation of refrigeration system in an industrial facility.
This training session comprises 30 participants from the consulting units of energy saving and industrial refrigeration system including the Energy Conservation Center, the Center of Industrial Development Consultancy, Institute of Refrigeration, and the Universities in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Per Skarbak - A professional trainer during the training session
The trainer of the training session, Mr. Per Skarbak - from COOL PARTNERS, Danish Company- specializes in maintenance, repair and optimization of the cooling system.
During 3 days of the second round training, participants had two sessions in theory in Hanoi. The main content is how to validate the optimum solutions for industrial refrigeration system in a simple way and less investment. The students were instructed in detail about methods of adjusting the compressor, the compressor inverter, methods of reducing the amount of oil in the compressor piston and the defrosting method.
In the field work at the Man Sugar JSC participants are practicing on the refrigeration system.
By the end of 1st training round, the trainees had conducted a survey on refrigeration system at one industrial base. They were then expected to send their proposals to the trainer for advice, consultation for further implementation. In the 2nd training round, Danish trainers selected some from students' proposals, to come directly to them for counseling, and assistance. Out of all the selected proposals, the most typical one would be chosen by the trainer for LCEE project implementation to demonstrate the optimal solution in the industrial refrigeration system.
Trainees are collecting data to do the practice exercises
With the practice, trainees were exposed to study tour at Man Sugar JSC (Industrial Zone, Tien Son, Bac Ninh province). On the site, the trainees discussed with the technical staff of the factory on refrigeration systems, the applied solutions, and tried to identify the causes of energy loss. The trainers instructed the students in how to collect data, analyze the data against the acquired theory. After data collection, the participants reviewed, considered and set out the necessary tasks to improve cooling system of the enterprise.
All participants in the training course were certified with Completion Certificate on Optimization of Industrial Refrigeration System.
