Renovation of the forms and methods of communication on power savings in schools in Can Tho city to raise the awareness and knowledge of the students about the use of power-saving, safety and efficiency is the plan which will be implemented in 2016 by Can Tho Power Company.

Accordingly, with various communication methods, Can Tho Power Company expected to implement power-saving program in schools bearing the theme "Together we form the habit" in 34 high schools in 9 districts of the city.

Under the plan, at each school site, Can Tho Power Company will cooperate with the school to hold extracurricular activities of power saving practice, in parallel with setting up the communication notice board with information and messages about electricity saving. The contents of the information bulletin are memorable messages for students such as: Turn off electrical appliances when not in use, how to handle a case of being electrocuted and what are considered as unsafe behavior in using electricity. The content posted on those message boards are specific commentary and understandable, accompanied by the slogan "Economical and Efficient Use of Electricity means: in right place, right time, right way and right demand".

As it is reported, this is the 3rd time the city power authority implemented the program "Together we form the habit". The power saving communication 2nd round "Together we form the habit" was held by Can Tho Power Company in October 2015 at 3 high schools: Nguyễn Việt Hồng,  Nguyễn Việt Dũng and Châu Văn Liêm which have created positive effects.
