EVN appoints new chairman

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) announced a Prime Ministerial decision on September 24 in Hanoi appointing Mr Hoang Quoc Vuong to be the EVN Member Council Chairman.

Hoang Quoc Vuong pledged to maintain and develop the existing strengths, build a united and responsible workforce, reach the business goals, safely run the national power system, continue to develop the power generation market, and make the EVN a strong, responsible and community-friendly group.
