The solar power system is expected to generate 13,679kWh and save VND13.6 million annually, while reducing 5,649kg of CO2 annually or 141 tonnes of CO2 in 25 years. The solar LED lighting pole and the solar water heating system will also save almost 7,000kWh and reduce 3,698kg of CO2 annually.

Ho Chi Minh City consumes about 20 percent of the country's power supply. However, the city takes great potential for the development of renewable energy, particularly solar power. For this reason, the solar power model at the office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will be expanded nationwide.
