According to Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, 100 enterprises from 11 different countries participated in the International exhibition on technologies of green energy and energy saving products – Enertech Expo 2013.
Enertech Expo 2013 is
organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade in
collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation in Tan Binh Exhibition
and Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh city for 4 days, from July 24th
to July 27th.

The exhibition
constitutes a unique forum that will bring together domestic companies and
international enterprises to strengthen their cooperation, boost investment,
share information and experiences on science and technology in order to find a
path for environmentally friendly solutions and the development of the new
renewable energy devices and energy efficiency appliances.
According to Solar BK
Company, only accounting for solar devices, there are over 65 manufacturers
producing solar water heaters in Vietnam at present.
In Ho Chi Minh city,
the number of households using solar water heaters increases by 3% per year on
average. It is expected that by 2015, the number of households in HCM city
using this devices will have accounted for 423,000 households and the total
estimated power saving capacity will be 672 million kWh annually.
