In 2023, four enterprises in the steel production, building materials, and wood processing sectors participated in the Voluntary Agreement Scheme on Energy Efficiency in Energy-Intensive Industries (VAS Program), within the framework of the Energy Partnership Program between Vietnam and Denmark 2020-2025 (DEPP3 Program), implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Embassy of Denmark and the Danish Energy Agency.
Cement production is one of the industries with high energy consumption, and cement enterprises prioritize finding effective energy-saving solutions to reduce costs and increase profits.
In the seafood processing industry, energy costs are significant, accounting for about 30% of total product costs.
Effective energy management optimizes energy usage, brings economic value, ensures sustainable environmental development, and reduces carbon emissions.
The synchronized application of management solutions, improvement initiatives, and investments in new technical technologies has helped Vnsteel Thang Long Coated Steel Joint Stock Company save 469,806 kWh, equivalent to an energy-saving rate of 16.2%.
