Bac Lieu Power Authority recently held a ceremony to launch the emulation program "Hamlet and Village with Power Savings in 2015".

In implementation of power saving program in 2015, Dak Nong Power Company in collaboration with the provincial labor federation held the launching ceremony of emulation "electricity savings in the workplace" in 2015.

The Newspaper Career Journal - Ho Chi Minh City Journalist Association and the city Power Corporation held the evaluation review and awarding for Cartoonists who participated in the Cartoon Contest on Electricity Saving 2015.

87.5 million kWh is the electricity savings of the Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) in April, 2015. Thus the 4-month accumulated balance is as much as over 390 million kWh, which reaches 39.2% of the year plan, equivalent to 2.54% of commercial power production.

On April 18, Dong Nai Power Company Ltd. held a review meeting on saving electricity in 2014 and action plan for 2015 with the participation of representatives from the departments and mass organizations in the Province and about 200 delegates of power supply units from the districts, Long Khanh Town and Bien Hoa city.

According to data from the Provincial Department of Trade and Industry, the total amount of power saved by the province in 2014 reached 44,333,546 kWh, equivalent to VND61 billion.

Authorities and businesses in Quang Nam Province have made electricity saving solutions for many years.

In recent years, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has made efforts to call for public awareness of saving electricity and obtained positive results. However, it requires community’s involvement.

In 2011, the province has saved 7.9 million kWh, the Ministry of Industry and Trade awarded certificate the province of merit.
