On May 14, 2015, a workshop on clean energy took place in HCM City with the theme "Smart Solutions for Vietnam". The Workshop was co-organized by the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and Investment Newspaper to promote clean energy cooperation between the two countries.

On May 6, in Binh Duong, a workshop on Green Investment Facility (GIF) was conducted for SMEs in Binh Duong. The workshop attracted the participation of many businesses in the province. This is part of a series of workshops to be held in 10 targeted provinces of the Low Carbon Transition in Energy Efficiency Project (LCEE).

LCEE Project introduced the technology of continuous kiln to brick and ceramic business owners in Vinh Long. This technology helps businesses save up to 50% energy and reduce pollution by 80%.

Clearing up the regulatory hurdles that are slowing development of electricity transmission lines would provide a significant boost to U.S. wind power development, industry officials said Wednesday. The American Wind Energy Association is holding a two-day workshop in Omaha focused on the challenges of transmitting power to places that need it. The biggest regulatory barriers have to do with who pays for high-voltage transmission lines and who decides where the lines will go.

On November 1st, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a workshop to prepare the development program for biogas. This is the “Quality and Safety Enhancement of Agricultural Products and Biogas Development Project” (QSEAP, VIE 39421), which was signed between the Government of Vietnam and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Hanoi in June 2009.
