On March 22 morning, the General Department of Energy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized the launching ceremony for Earth Hour 2015 Campaign in Da Nang.

In the evening of March 22nd, 2015, thousands of pupils, students, volunteers and people of Hanoi congregated at the August Revolution Square to participate in the ritual light-off in response to Earth Hour 2015 campaign.

The 2013 Earth Hour campaign You and I, Together We Act kicks off on March 23 at the August Revolution Square in front of the Hanoi Opera House in Ha Noi.

Vietnam saved 401 MW of power, equivalent to 576 million VND (28,800 USD), by switching off lights during the 2013 Earth Hour, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on March 23, according to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN).
