On July 23, 2015, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Electricity Company of Quang Nam in collaboration with the Dien Ban town People's Committee held a celebration over a general review of the movement "Energy Saving Agencies and Enterprises" in Quang Nam province, and the Contest "Electricity Savings in Public Offices in 2015" in Dien Ban district of the province.

To lessen the burden of difficulties in securing the supply of electricity, EVN HANOI respectfully calls for sympathy of customers in their economical and efficient use of electricity, by turning off unused electrical appliances, regulating the temperature from 25-28°C in air-con use, and restricting the simultanous use of electrical appliances during peak hours.

87.5 million kWh is the electricity savings of the Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) in April, 2015. Thus the 4-month accumulated balance is as much as over 390 million kWh, which reaches 39.2% of the year plan, equivalent to 2.54% of commercial power production.

On April 18, Dong Nai Power Company Ltd. held a review meeting on saving electricity in 2014 and action plan for 2015 with the participation of representatives from the departments and mass organizations in the Province and about 200 delegates of power supply units from the districts, Long Khanh Town and Bien Hoa city.
