On May 14th, a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade inspected the compliance with laws on using energy efficiency and conservation and the implementation of Directive 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on enhancing energy saving for the period 2023-2025 and subsequent years in Lao Cai.

In the implementation of the Law on economical and efficient use of energy, Directive No.171/CT-TTg dated November 26, 2011 by the Prime Minister, Directive No.06/2011/CT-UBND and Green Energy Programme of Ho Chi Minh City in 2015 in the phase of 2011-2015, Ho Chi Minh City continues to perform its leading role in the implementation of guidelines on power saving.

The Prime Minister agreed to add An Khe Biomass Power Plant with the total capacity of 95 MW to the master plan for national electricity development, period 2011 - 2020 to 2030, which is scheduled for operation in the period of 2016-2017.
