That is a huge advantage when implementing energy saving programs to serve the production and business activities in HCM city.

Along with the strong advocacy of energy efficiency and conservation, the Corporation has coordinated with the city Women's Union and the Energy Conservation Center to launch a reward program for electricity saving households as a practical form of encouragement.

HCM City is forecasted to lack 178 million kWh in the dry season this year. Therefore, the Corporation has developed detailed power supply plans with some contents such as establishing operating teams to be on duty 24h/24h, mobilizing customers to use electricity economically during peak hours; using generators appropriately...

The Corporation has built power supply scenarios in case the electric system has to operate at the power shortage levels of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of output, capacity under the reduction requirement of the National Load Despatch Centre.

About power cut plan (if any), the Corporation shall notify the customers of the schedule at least a week early so that they can arrange business plans and activities.
