Energy efficiency conference in Danang

mplementing national target program on energy efficiency and conservation in 2012 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on 21 September 2012, Danang Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Energy Efficiency Office, Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a conference on energy efficiency.

Implementing national target program on energy efficiency and conservation in 2012 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on 21 September 2012, Danang Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Energy Efficiency Office, Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a conference on energy efficiency.

The conference focused on the implementation of Law on energy efficiency and conservation, mandatory energy efficiency labeling route for energy products and a number of important issues related to the state management on energy in the entire city.

At the conference, the participants also heard report on assessment of energy and efficient use of energy of air conditioners which have different labeling levels, energy standards of air conditioners, regulations on administrative sanctions related to energy labeling ...

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association Office of Cold Technlology and Air Conditioning in Da Nang has also launched.

In 2011, in the implementation of Law on energy efficiency and conservsation, the city has saved nearly 33.5 million kWh, accounting for 2.34% of commercial electricity. The regulation on efficient use of energy has been issued at the state agencies, public service units, medical facilities, schools, social-political organizations.

In 2012, Da Nang continues to implement the national target program on energy efficiency and conservation in the entire city (for the period 2011 - 2015) with the following contents: strenthening state management role in the field of efficient use and conservation of energy; raising community awareness in efficient use and conservation of energy; bringing educational contents into the educational system; into every households; supporting energy-saving product manufacturers to bring their products to businesses and people; efficient use and conservation of energy in the buildings; in transportation activities.
