2800 voluntary students in HCMC participated in Earth Hour projects

Two weeks after the launch, Earth Hour campaign 2013 in HCMC has attracted more than 2,800 volunteers participating in the campaign's main projects.

This year's campaign includes a range of activities such as cycling for the environment, 20 Seconds for Earth Hour, Green Energy Street Quarter and Green Hands.

The two highlight projects of the 2013 programme are Ecological Roof (tiling houses with recycled sheet metal roofs) and Green School (raising awareness of green environment to primary and high school students).

Those exciting activities are taking place until the light-out event for Earth Hour is held from 7.30pm to 10pm on March 23 at the 4A yard of the HCM Youth Culture House.
