Performance Improvement
To ensure the success of the system implementation, the Colusa Miliket Company engaged with the ECC-HCMC whose representatives were under the instruction of UNIDO
international experts through a capacity building program. Through this collaboration, the Company has become the first business in Ho Chi Minh City to become certified to the International Energy Management Standard ISO 50001:2011. The significant savings obtained are clearly evident; the initiatives identified through the system have delivered a 12% improvement in energy performance on the 2011 baseline figures when normalised with production for 2012. A further 12% improvement in energy performance has been achieved in the first three months of 2013, a performance trend which is expected to continue as the system evolves.
