Hoa Sen Nghe An Co., Ltd. prioritizes implementing energy management solutions and advanced technical solutions aimed at efficient energy use, a top concern for the company.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, Nghe An sets a goal of saving energy from 5-7% of total energy consumption. Solutions for scientific and technological development and production and business are being deployed by many enterprises in the production process.

The organizer awarded the certificates "Typical Family of Power Savings in 2015" and prizes to 5 winning families, and the title "Power Saving Family" to 50 others.

Located in the district of Yen Thanh, Nghe An, Yen Thanh Tapioca Plant, directly under Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation in Nghe An, was established in 2003. During the past six years, the factory has always faced many problems of power consumption, emissions, waste water and environment pollution.

Intimex Thanh Chuong Tapioca Factory, under Nghe An Intimex branch, was put into operation in 2004. The factory has increased the capacity twice: from 60 to 120 tons per day and from 120 to 180 tons per day. Its coal consumption and the rate of raw cassava over cassava products used to be much higher compared to other factories in Vietnam which have similar scale. Consumption of the company in 2008: 3.7 million kWh of electricity per year; 2.8 million kilograms of coal; 27,000 kilograms of diesel oil. After joining the Component of Cleaner Production in industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, leaders of the company has made several concrete measures in energy efficiency.
