Energy-consumption Survey in beverage industry

The Energy General Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade was assigned to the Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Project sponsored by the Global Environment Fund (GFF) through World Bank.

The project has recently investigated, evaluated and developed energy-consumption standards in producing some industrial products such as chemicals, paper, food, drinks. On that basis, an action plan for each related industry will be laid, issued and deployed to meet the targets set by the National Energy Efficiency Program for the period of 2012 – 2015.

The Energy General Department nominated EPRO Consulting Company and the Centre for Energy Efficiency Research and Development (ENERTEAM) to conduct the above research in beverage industry. The result of energy consumption evaluation and energy-savings potentials will be shared within businesses involved.
