During two days of April 11-12, the final round of 2015 Honda ''Eco Mileage Challenge" (Honda EMC) took place in the National Conference Center (Hanoi).
In Honda EMC 2015, there are 147 teams, an increase of 16 teams compared to 2014, to participate in two main competitions, homemade vehicles (109 teams of which 90 teams of students) and available-on-market vehicles (38 teams).
The top record is made by the Propeller Team, which breaks the record for a litre of petrol, the vehicle goes over 2,109km, very much ahead of the previous year 2014's record of 1,164km. In addition, in the category of home-made vehicles, the student team CKOUTC1 of the Hanoi University of Transportation and Communications attains the top record of 999.884 km/ litre.

The driving performance competition of Honda Eco Mileage Challenge was originated from 1981 to enhance the creativity in teamwork and public awareness in environmental protection for students and the society as well. The Challenge is a healthy competitive playing ground with an aim to improve the creative joy in team work, as well as public awareness in environmental protection. In Vietnam, the participating teams will make the vehicles using Honda 110cc engine with the goal to maximize the fuel efficiency.
In addition to the prizes from the organizers of this competition, this year the highest reward for the home-made vehicle champion is the entitlement to participate in Honda EMC to be organized in Japan in the coming October.
