Preferable Economical Electric Products
Window shopping through some electric and electronics stores in Hanoi, although it is early summer, the atmosphere for shopping electric appliances could be felt, with upcoming hot days in forecast.
In this year, besides the other criteria, the electricity price increase highlights the energy-saving criterion, taking a lot of consumers' concern. The concern is to do not only with high capacity products but also with daily essential appliances like lamps and electric kettles.

In the product line of preferable energy saving devices, it is well worth to mention compact lamps and LEDs. In many shops and stores, they are the two best-selling products with prominent features of essential need, compact body and simple operation.
Mr. Hai, the sales consultant at My Dinh Media Mart supermarket (Hanoi) says that the two types of lamps are more reliable, because compact lamps and LED lamps can save up to 75% energy compared with filament light. LED bulbs use monochromatic light, with DC sources, thus it does not flicker as other kinds of lights do, so it would be better for eyes. Moreover, this product is not affected by the number of on-off switching, thus its life cycle prolongs.
And products such as air conditioners and refrigerators now use inverter technology. Accordingly, this technology will help save from 30-60% power consumption compared with the old technology products. At the same time, this technology also enables product features of better deodorant and moisture, says Mr. Hai .
Product diversity
This year, the electrical equipment market is quite diverse with various products, particularly with the integration of more new features, compact design, convenient manipulation. Above all, they save energy.

Currently, most sought-after products are power saving featured conditioning, electric fans, and lamps. In the early summer, the market for refrigeration, electronic equipment has just started. In the end of May, and through to June, it is considered the most exciting time of this market when the demand for electricity sharply increases.
