In order to contribute to socio-economic development, to stabilize the livelihood of the affected people in the areas of nuclear power plant construction, the Government and the relevant agencies are working to expeditiously complete to enact mechanisms in support to socio-economic infrastructure construction in Ninh Thuan.

In the first months of 2015 there have been many meetings between the Government and leaders of Ninh Thuan province and the concerned ministries to discuss the Scheme on Mechanism to support the socio-economic infrastructure construction.

For  effective and practical implementation of the socio-economic development, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai requested the Ministry of Planning and Investment to collate the capital demands for projects that require additional capital in 2015 to report to the Prime Minister; to coordinate with Ninh Thuan province and the concerned  ministries for a complete proposal in May, 2015, in which the additional socio-economic infrastructure projects are ranked by priority for appropriate investment within the state budget balance, and actions plans of nuclear power project.

The Deputy Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to work out priority policy, to support vocational training, higher education and the university, especially the careers relating to construction, management and operation of nuclear power plant for pupils, and students from Ninh Thuan.

The  Ministry of Transport sets priority for its investment and transportation projects in Ninh Thuan province, provides instructions to Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for preparation of investment, realization of investment, and management of transport system in the province, so as these activities could be carried out in synchronization with the investment from the central government, to meet the demands of transport for socio-economic development in the province and the construction of nuclear power plant in Ninh Thuan.

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai requires the Ministry of Industry and Trade to urgently complete the scheme on "Special policies and mechanism for the investment project of Ninh Thuan nuclear power plant" to submit to the Prime Minister in August 2015, in which experience of countries with nuclear power plants should be reported in order to propose the supportive mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development in the areas affected by the project during construction and operation of the Nuke Power Plant.
