June 4-6, 2015 in Hanoi, the Conference "Summer peak time with Power savings program, Efficient use of energy in Hanoi" took place. The conference was held by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Hanoi Power Company. The conference aims to propagate and mobilize people in economical and efficient use of electricity in hot weather conditions.

In the framework of the program, a ceremony of electricity saving Households in 2015 in Hanoi with the theme: "Efficient use of energy in each family means saving for you today and for your future generations".

This is the 6th year Hanoi deployed the movement of power saving households. This year, Hanoi strives to set up 600 typical households demonstrated with economical and efficient use of electricity, to accomplish the planned goals of power savings".

Shortly after the conference, a training program to enhance the communication skills for economical and efficient use of electricity was conducted, to show the communicators how to identify energy labels on electrical appliances in households for citywide communication campaign.
