A special lamp which can control the vegetation growth as desired has been researched and successfully produced by scientists of R & D Center (Rang Dong Vacuum Flask JSC).
The lamps or bulbs are used, not simply for lighting, yet light bulbs can also be used to control the vegetation growth as much as we desire. Scientists at the R&D Center (Eastern Twilight Rang Dong Vacuum Flask JSC) from their research, have successfully designed the bulb which can control the vegetation growth. In tissue culturing, the use of specialized lighting has a decisive role in the success of seedlings.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Ly Anh, Director of Institute of Agricultural Biology says that every plant has a typical light wavelength and spectrum which suits its growing conditions and biological characteristics of each species. This specialized lighting is a decisive factor in the development of crops. Since is difficult so far to procure these types of bulbs from the market, the scientists often utilize the natural light for vegetation growth. Thus, the success or failure of research depends heavily on the factors from the "heaven".
Dr. Do Xuan Thanh, Director, R & D Centre of Eastern Twilight (Rang Dong) says that through decoding the dedicated lamps in tissue culturing in the advanced countries, in conjunction with research's findings from the domestic materials, the scientists have manufactured the specialized bulbs with light sources and wavelength suitable for tissue culturing. The reaction to lighting is different from group to group of plants, so the researchers focus on how to use the lights for optimum lighting, positive for each group of plants. The design of lampshade also helps focus maximum radiation into the object to be illuminated, creating high illumination with uniformity. The initial results show that the average light focused on tissue culture reaches 70-75%.
According to Dr. Do Xuan Thanh, this is the product using lighting equipment with high performance, low power loss, and evenly-spread light distribution, and the total electricity consumption could be decreased by almost 50%.
