In 2014, Dak Nong Power Company saved 6.19 million kWh, accounted for 2.01% of commercial power yield. To meet the power-saving targets in the area, at the beginning of the year, Dak Nong Power Company publicly posted at the Company's Office and Customer Service Office the Directive on power saving issued by the Government, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Electricity of Vietnam.
Besides, Dak Nong Power Company also takes initiative in provision of advice and recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade on the power saving plan and objectives. Thus, the company in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, and Dak Nong provincial Department of Industry and Trade dispatched documents to the departments, agencies, district offices and enterprises in the province and the entire population on the power-saving measures.

In addition to power-saving messages on the mass media, Dak Nong Power Company held many events with diverse forms, as hanging banners, flyers and posters, decoration of loud speakers cars, and parades along the main streets of the town and district urban centers. Also, through a team of cashiers and electricity meter recording staff, customer service officers, the company distributed thousands of power saving leaflets to customers and electricity users in the province, to call for the people to raise the awareness in the use of electricity with safety, savings and efficiency.
In other forms of communication, Dak Nong Power Company effectively implemented the emulation program "Power Saving Family" in Gia Nghia town, to attract numerous customers to participate. This is an activity to raise the awareness of saving electricity in households, and to share the difficulties with the electricity industry in modulating and securing the energy supplies.
