Implementing the National Target Program on economical and efficient use of energy, Long An Power Company has been stepping up its public communication to electricity users in the program. With many specific and practical solutions, power saving has been improved with effectiveness.

With industrial customers on the list of major power users, Long An Power Company in coordination with the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade conducted inspections to encourage the customers to make their plans for economical and efficient use of energy, in conformity with the annual production plan, even during the renovation and expansion of production scale; and to perform the mandatory energy audits.

For industrial clients not on the list of major energy users, the company advised the clients to perform energy audits, and provided the consulting service in electricity-saving measures, so that power saving would become a habit associated with production.

By June 2015, the saved power output across the province was 41.623.777Kwh, reaching 2.64%. In the field of industrial production, power savings achieved 27.077.677Kwh.

According to Long An Power Company, in the difficult economic conditions, power saving has become one of the important solutions to help businesses save on input costs. However, still some businesses have not been able to implement the power saving measures due to its constrained economic conditions.

Therefore, to realize the power saving more effectively, in the time to come, the company will continue to coordinate with the functional agencies to conduct the energy audit, to advise the businesses with  power savings measures in consistence with their production.
