In the morning of July 28, Phu Yen Power Company in collaboration with the provincial Labor Federation held a general emulation program "Electricity savings in offices in 2015". The emulation program "electricity savings in offices" had been launched by Phu Yen Power Company in coordination with Phu Yen Provincial Labor Federation, and implemented for 3 months (from April to June 2015), in order to mobilize all government offices in the province to save energy in the workplace and strive to save 10% or more of the amount of power consumed in each month of April, May and June, 2015. As a result, there are 3,810 administrative agencies involved in the emulation program "Electricity savings in offices" and out of them 157 offices achieve the standard in power saving as compared to the previous month by 5% or more. During the 3 months, the agencies saved 245.617kWh.

Besides the emulation program "Electricity savings in offices", Phu Yen Power Company also spent more than 400 million for the communication on power savings each year. Some typical programs are the Earth Hour Response campaign; electricity saving in the home; electricity saving in the school; communication, advocacy for safe economical and efficient use of electricity, during 2014-2015 period. As a result, from 2011 to now, the province has saved 40.365.899kWh, equivalent to 2% of electricity consumption, with estimated value of VND50 billion.
On this occasion, Phu Yen Power Company grants the awards of electricity saving to 50 administrations offices entitled with "Electricity Saving Agency of the Year 2015".
