Bac Kan Power Company (PC) has concluded “Power saving families” program after 6 months of implementation. The program attracted 3,093 households and contributed to saving 391,896 KWh of electricity.

Participants included households using electricity for daily needs in the whole province. They are committed to keeping power consumption in 6 consecutive months of 2015 at least 10% lower than that of 2014.  

After 6 months, 160 households were rewarded for their significant results. In particular, 108 households received “Power saving family” prizes, each of which valued VND200,000. Fifty-two households with the best results were given “Typical power saving family” prizes, each of which was worth VND500,000. Those families have been using at least one out of three power saving devices which are LED, compact bulbs and solar heaters.
