In 2015, Ca Mau Power Company (PC) gained significant achievements in the campaign aiming at encouraging people to use electricity safely, economically and efficiently. Last year, Ca Mau saved about 29,500,139 KWh, accounting for 2.55% of total power supply, exceeding its target by 122%.

To achieve this result, Ca Mau PC has been flexible, realistic and active in promoting electrical safety and energy efficiency. In particular, Cau Mau PC has cooperated with other agencies and governmental departments to organize “How to use electricity safely, economically and efficiently” competition.

In December 2015, Ca Mau PC gave energy saving light bulbs to the poor and families under preferential treatment

Additionally, Ca Mau PC has also worked with 40 seafood export processing factories to carry out energy saving activities. Furthermore, with the assistance of Ca Mau Trade and Industry Department, Ca Mau Water Supply - Sewerage and Urban Work Company Limited, Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, the company has also implemented appropriate time management plans for street lighting in the past year.

Due to Ca Mau Province’s efforts, its customers in civil service, public lighting, service business and households, and manufacturing have saved 2 million KWh, 139 KWh, 14 million and 13 million KWh respectively.
