On 28th January 2016, Thu Dau Mot Power Company (PC) held a conference to summarize “Power saving quarters 2015” program. Attendants included Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of Thu Dau Mot People’s Committee, delegates from other departments and typical power saving families. 

After 8 months of implementation, the program encouraged 10,242 households to reduce electricity consumption and contributed to saving over 4.5 million KWh, equivalent to VND9 billion. 

In addition to “Power saving quarters” program, Thu Dau Mot PC also carried out plenty of activities such as organizing competitions with energy efficiency theme in corporations, governmental agencies, communities, schools etc. across the city. 

Also on this occasion, Thu Dau Mot People’s Committee and Thu Dau Mot PC gave certificates of merit to 11 groups and 77 families who achieved outstanding results in the power saving program. Total value of prizes given came to VND55 million.
