For years, Tra Vinh Power Company (Tra Vinh PC) has been actively implementing power saving activities and achieved positive results. In 2016, Tra Vinh PC will continue building plans which aims at saving 2% of total energy supply and completed tasks assigned by Southern Power Corporation. 

Accordingly, PC Tra Vinh will carry out various activities to boost energy efficiency such as holding meetings and marches, hanging banners, sticking posters etc. as Earth Hour event is just around the corner. 

Additionally, the company will work with authorities of communes, districts and cities to broadcast radio programs encouraging people to use energy safely, economically and efficiently at least 4 times a month. 

Moreover, Tra Vinh PC will keep organizing “Power saving cultural hamlets” and “Power saving cultural quarters”.  They aim to encourage 50% of households in a hamlet or quarter to reduce energy consumption by 5%. 

Meanwhile, the company will replace inefficient devices by more efficient ones in its offices. They will also conduct propagation activities including featuring power conservation content in printed handbooks, on raincoats, helmets etc.
