On April 11, 2016, Quang Ngai Power Company held extracurricular activities with the theme "Powersaving Students" in Thuan Nghia Secondary School to launch the communication program for power saving in schools in 2016.

The purpose of the program is to equip students with the basic knowledge of safe use of electricity, power saving and efficiency. Each student will be a messenger to spread the power saving messages to every family and the community.

As planned, the 2016 power savings program in schools will be deployed by Quang Ngai Power Companyi n 22 primary and secondary schools in 14 districts and the city of the province with 12,000 students and teachers to be involved.

The contents and messages include: performances of skits and dissemination of leaflets to promote power saving practices; the propagators of the Electricity convey messages on safe use of electricity, power saving and efficiency; games with reward; art and cultural presentation; knowledge competition on electricity savings in the form of multiple choice test on paper, then 15 best test results will be selected and the Organizing Board shall hand over the award to each school.

This is the fourth consecutive year when Quang Ngai Power Company coordinates with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai to organize the extracurricular activities for students on the theme of power savings.
