Dr. Huynh Quyen and the oil product obtained from waste plastic
After it is collected, waste
plastic will be crushed down and burned at the temperature of 350 degrees centigrade
under the condition of oxygen shortage with steam supplement to obtain crude
oil. Crude oil will then be treated to obtain petrol and diesel oil.
Dr. Quyen said that 1,000kg
of crude oil can be obtained from every 3,000kg of waste plastic. Waste oil is
used as fuel during the burning process. This project contributes considerably
to environmental protection.
