The Vinh Phuc Province Department of Science and Technology
recently worked with the Promoting Energy Conservation in Small and Medium
Scale Enterprise Project (PECSME) under the Ministry of Science and Technology
to organize a training course on energy conservation in small and mediums-sized
enterprises in the areas of textile-garment, food processing, paper and pulp.
Attending the course were leaders and officials of the Vinh Phuc Province Department of Science and Technology, leaders of departments of industry and trade in districts, towns and cities, and officials of 20 businesses in these industries in the province.
During two days of the course, the learners could improve
the knowledge of energy management systems, design of energy efficient light
systems, steam boilers, energy conservation methods, assistance mechanisms and
energy conservation solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises in the
province, in order for them to make products in the areas of industry,
construction, processing and services that are competitive domestically,
regionally and internationally.
