Homeowners in England and Wales will be eligible for funding in vouchers from the Green Deal to help cut their energy bills.
There will be up to £30 million in vouchers available to help with the costs of things such as insulation, double glazing, boilers and floor insulation.

The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) a government initiative will be open to applications from 9am on the 10th December. Households will be eligible for up to £5600 in funding.
Ed Davey Energy and Climate Change secretary said: “This fund is a big success story for the Green Deal – helping thousands of people improve their homes so that they’re warmer, greener and cheaper to run.”
The Green Deal had to shut down a similar scheme earlier this year, as it had proved so popular the funding ran out within just six weeks.
