In response to the National Target Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy, on December 28, 2015, at the Provincial Convention Center, Vinh Phuc Energy Center held a training conference on energy savings and efficiency for businesses and units operating in the field of design, construction management, public lighting and transport.

The Director of the Bac Giang provincial Center for Energy Conservation, Mr. Duong Van Tuan, said that for the period 2016 - 2020, the province would strive to save 5-8% of total energy consumption; with focus on prioritizing the replication of energy saving and efficiency families.

On Dec 16, 2015 Tien Giang province held a conference to sum up the energy savings period 2008-2015 and the strategy of cleaner production for 2011-2015 in the province. Mr. Le Van Nghia, Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang attended and chaired the meeting.

Vietnam also has many solutions, specific support policies to realize the application of energy saving solutions and green energy use in production and daily life

In the world of computer gaming, bragging rights are accorded to those who can boast of blazing-fast graphics cards, the most powerful processors, the highest-resolution monitors, and the coolest decorative lighting. They are not bestowed upon those crowing about the energy efficiency of their system. If they were, gaming computers worldwide might well be consuming billions of dollars less in electricity use annually, with no loss in performance.

On October 21, 2015, Expert on energy saving, Dr. Nguyen Van Khai came to Dinh To Commune, Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh to share and disseminate his knowledge about electricity saving appliances and devices.

Implementing the National Scheme for Energy savings, on October 22, 2015, An Tao Primary School in Hung Yen City in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union and Hung Yen Electricity Company deployed the Program "Primary schools joining hands for energy saving 2015 ".

In the morning of October 18, 2015, in the Meeting Hall of People’s Committee of Ky Long Ward, School Cluster 2 (Department of Education and Training of Ky Anh Town), a festival of competition for “Join hand for Education about Economical and Efficient Use of Energy” for Secondary schools in the school-year 2015-2016 was held.

Having been deployed since 2006, so far the energy-saving activities and Cleaner Production in Dong Thap province have made many important achievements to contribute to energy efficiency, and reduction of environment pollution.

With a total planned budget of around VND 6 billion, the project of development and dissemination of high-performance energy saving equipment for gradual removal of low-performance equipment will be the target of the Hanoi Energy Conservation Center (Hanoi ECC) to be implemented in 2015.

On October 02, 2015, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Central Communist Youth Union held a launching ceremony for a competition of “Adolescents propose solutions and innovative ideas about energy saving in 2015”.

On September 23, 2015, Thanh Xuan District People's Committee in collaboration with the Hanoi Center for Energy Conservation conducted a training "Energy savings in households" in Ha Dinh Ward.

On September 18, 2015, Provincial Youth Union of Binh Phuoc and Department of Industry and Trade hold a conference on evaluation and summary of the Scheme of meeting organization about propaganda of energy saving in areas of Binh Phuoc province.

Prime Minister has approved the list of Project “Promotion of use and operation of energy-efficient industrial boilers in Vietnam”, granted an aid given gratis by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from aid sources of Global Environment Facility (GEF).

INTENSE aims at transferring intelligent energy saving measures for municipal housing from “old” EU Member States to “new” Member States and Accession countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

According to Decision No.1483/QD- issued by Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy Program, Bac Giang strives to save between 5% and 8% of total energy consumption in 2016 - 2020.
