Development of nuclear power (nuke power) for peaceful purposes is the consistent policy of Vietnam. This is one of the perspective and the legal basis for Vietnam's most important policy developed specifically for nuclear power reactors. This view was reflected in the decision to approve the Orientation for nuclear power planning and development in Vietnam toward 2030 by the Prime Minister.

Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan for energy saving and efficiency in the province for the period of 2013 - 2015.
