The Danish PM will be accompanied by a number of big business names, including the world’s biggest wind turbine maker Vestas, for the aim of boosting cooperation with Viet Nam in economy, trade, wind energy and other fields.

During the visit, the Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy and the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade are expected to sign a cooperative deal, under which Denmark will offer a funding of US$14 million to encourage the efficient use of energy among Vietnamese small- and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Ambassador John Nielse, Denmark has defined Viet Nam among 10 emerging markets in the world and hopes that Viet Nam will continue improving conditions, including infrastructure and the quality of human resources, to help Danish businesses work more effectively in the country.

Over 130 Danish firms are currently operating in Viet Nam.
