Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam) vừa ký kết Biên bản ghi nhớ (MoU) hợp tác trong lĩnh vực năng lượng tái tạo giữa Petrovietnam và Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

Ngày 23/1 tại trụ sở Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam), Ban Tài chính Kế toán Tập đoàn đã chủ trì buổi làm việc giữa các Ban chuyên môn Tập đoàn với đại diện Ngân hàng Thế giới World Bank (WB) về việc tài trợ vốn cho các dự án năng lượng tái tạo của Petrovietnam.

Đại diện Hội đồng Năng lượng gió toàn cầu (GWEC) cho biết, GWEC sẵn sàng chia sẻ kinh nghiệm, hợp tác với Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam) trong lĩnh vực điện gió ngoài khơi.

Ngày 24/5, tại trụ sở Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam), lãnh đạo Petrovietnam đã có buổi làm việc với lãnh đạo Tổng công ty Đầu tư và Kinh doanh vốn nhà nước (SCIC).

Ngày 27/4 tại trụ sở Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam), Chủ tịch HĐTV Petrovietnam Hoàng Quốc Vượng đã có buổi tiếp và làm việc với ông Bernerd Da Santos, Phó Chủ tịch thường trực kiêm Giám đốc điều hành Tập đoàn AES.

Petrovietnam định hướng phát triển thành Tập đoàn năng lượng lớn trong nước và khu vực với các hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh cốt lõi là tìm kiếm, thăm dò, khai thác và chế biến nguồn tài nguyên dầu khí, đồng thời phát triển các nguồn năng lượng xanh, năng lượng tái tạo gắn với bảo vệ môi trường, góp phần đảm bảo an ninh năng lượng quốc gia.

Năm 2021, Petrovietnam đã tiết kiệm được 3.217 tỉ đồng. Trong đó, tiết kiệm trong chi phí sản xuất kinh doanh từ nguyên, nhiên vật liệu, nhiên liệu năng lượng, cải tiến hợp lý hoá sản xuất… lên đên 1.562 tỉ đồng.

ADB đã tiến hành mời thầu chọn tư vấn để hỗ trợ Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (Petrovietnam) trong vấn đề chuyển đổi sang năng lượng xanh (GETS).

A working group from the Gazprom Neft Group (Russia) recently worked with the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) on investment cooperation in upgrading the Dung Quat Oil Refinery. PetroVietnam Power Corporation on Saturday officially brought its Nhon Trach Power Plant No. 2 into operation in the southern province of Dong Nai.

This is one of the three biofuel factories that PetroVietnam is planning to build, with the total capacity of 300,000 kilolitres per year. That plant is being built in Binh Phuoc province, with the total investment of about 10 billion yen (USD 122 million), of which Itochu holds the largest share of 40%. As planned, the plant will be put into operation in 2012, with the capacity of 100,000 kilolitres of bioethanol.

PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas), the biggest liquid gas supplier in Vietnam intends to sell 15-20 percent of its shares to foreign investors to earn US$600 million. Chitrapongse Kwangsukstith, the chairman of PTT International Company Limited, a member of PTT Corporation in Thailand, said that his company pays a special attention to buying share of PV Gas.

According to information from the British Embassy, from November 22th to 26th, a trade mission of the Energy Industries Corporation of the UK (EIC) will come to Vietnam to explore investment opportunities in the oil industry. In HCM city, representatives of companies will have meeting with PetroVietnam and companies which were already established and operating in Vietnam market such as Chevron, Conoco Phillips, JVPC and Worley Parsons. The delegation will also visit and work with companies operating in the field of oil and gas in Vung Tau.

Since the plants were put into operation, the total output has been 18 billion kWh and the total revenue has been nearly VND22,000 billion. In 2010, Ca Mau 1 and Ca Mau 2 power plants - Ca Mau Petrovietnam Power Company - plans to produce 7.6 billion kWh, and up to November 10th, the total output has exceeded 4% of the plan, accounting for 13% of electricity output of the whole country, the revenue has reached VND10,512 billion.

The project on construction of a wind power electricity plant on Phu Quy Island has been implemented by the PetroVietnam Power Corporation. The project costs VND335 billion. The plant has capacity of 6MW and includes three 2MW turbines. The plant produces about 25.4 million of kWh annually. It will connect with the 22kV network and work smoothly with the diesel power plant located on the island. The project occupies permanent and temporary areas of 0.74ha and 0.87ha respectively.

On 14 September, Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) inaugurated the construction project of the system recovering CO2 from the exhaust of Phu My Fertilizer Plant. The project aims to increase annual urea fertilizer output of the plant by about 60,000 tons, while reducing 40,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year to protect the environment.
