The road towards power saving in Cao Bang

Continuing with the journey towards power saving, Philips Electronics Co., Ltd. Vietnam (Philips VN) has just come to Luu Ngoc and Cao Chuong hamlets (Tra Linh district, Cao Bang).

" The road towards power saving " of Philips has come to many districts and hamlets throughout the country.

Here, the program has awarded energy saving bulbs to poor households; exchange incandescent bulbs and help the inhabitants installing new lighting. Nearly 5,000 Philips light bulbs of all kinds, together with the bulb holders were handed directly to the people. In addition, the company’s employees together with Youth Union members of the Department of Industry and Trade, Electricity Company and social advocacy groups are also raising awareness on power saving to the people.

The program was successfully held in many provinces such as Vinh Long, Dong Thap, An Giang, Quang Ngai, Binh Thuan, Quang Tri, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh and Khanh Hoa ... This activity encourages the people to convert from old lighting appliances to new energy efficient lighting appliances that lead to long-term economic benefits.

Since its establishment, Philips has been actively involved in many projects of the Government such as energy-saving for agriculture, lighting pilot project for schools or public lighting pilot projects.
