Soc Trang enhances energy saving propagation

To kick off th energy saving propagation, Soc Trang Power Company co-operated with Soc Trang Women’s Union propagates the energy consumption and saving efficiency to 22 groups under Provincial Women’s Union in 22 towns and villages. The program took place from March 18th to April 10th.

During the propagation events, many different reasons for conserving power as well as effective energy saving solutions were introduced to female participants. In addition, Soc Trang Power Company also held a small competition of energy saving. Each participant having the right answer to the organizing committee’s questions was awarded the 18W energy saving compact fluorescent lamp.

The events received a lot of positive feedback. Participants gave high opinions of the feasibility and efficiency of the projects. They also committed to continue propagating not only to other family members but also their neighbors in saving energy.
